Happy Valentines Day! | Day 2 of Lent!

Happy Valentines day!

I've always been a firm believer that Valentines day is all about spending time with those you love whether it be your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, children or best friends! Valentines day is all about celebrating love and the people you love in your life. 

This valentines day...I had university lectures. Dull! But after that, I spent the rest of the day with my boyfriend. (cue: aww!) We decided that for Valentines day we weren't going to do anything extra special but a couple of days before the 'big day' we realised we might as well at least go out and treat ourselves a little bit! So we decided to try to go for a meal at Wagamamas, which is an awesome Japanese restaurant which doesn't take bookings so we were much more likely to get in there than anywhere else! And it was DE-LICIOUS!







I also made some little chocolate covered strawberries, which were delicious and adorable!
(If I do say so myself!)

I just made them by melting milk chocolate, dipping the strawberries in and, when they were cool enough. I melted white chocolate in a freezer bag in the microwave (stirring every minute or so, for about 2 minutes) I then cut a tiny hole in the corner of the bag making a makeshift piping bag! Perfecto!
