Lash 360º *Seven days of mascara!*

I got this product in a small christmas set and I must admit, when I saw that it was No7, I was quite excited! No7 has always been quite a luxurious brand to me as it is a bit mroe expensive than the other high street make-p. Not only that but it always has the fanciest stand in Boots!For those who don't know, No7 is exclusive to Boots and is the older, wiser and more glamourous sister to the teenage branded '17 Cosmetics'. Interestingly enough, No7 was launched 78 years ago and started branding with the ever-so-charming slogan

"A modern way to loveliness"
(How adorable!)

Anyway! When I recieved this mascara as a gift, after being very excited to try it out and simply assuming my eyelashes would flutter just as beautifully as Keeley Hawes do. But no. This mascara was not as expected...

* First Impressions *
I think the packaging for No7 is always very simple and elegant. With a gold tube, the design is simplistic and pretty. As this is a sample size, it does seem very handy to pop in your bag or pocket and I would consider taking it out in a little clutch bag on a night out

* Application *
First off, the brush is bloomin' massive! And not in a good way! The bristles are very erratic and spiky making it very difficult if, like me, you have shorter lashes. When I use it, I end up with mascara all over my eyelids.
The brush is claimed to have a 'breakthrough design' which gives 'up to 7x more volume', but I completely disagree. I found that because the bristles were of all shapes and sizes that it gave my lashes a rather uneven effect, layering thick mascara on some lashes, while hardly coating the others

* Overall *
I would not buy this mascara again. At the price of around £10 (This is a guess as I think this line is discontinued in the UK) I don't think it is worth it. Which is disappointing as I know many people love and trust the No7 brand! However, I wont be ditching No7 yet, although they are still yet to impress me. Especially as their 'colour match service' matched me to a colour that limited me to two of their huge range of mascaras. But that's another story...
