Recently I was given the Lush Mint Julips lip scrub and I must say, this product is delicious! Yes really! Delicious! It works by using sugar within its soothing lip balm to help scrub away and exfoliate your lips. Made with peppermint, vanilla and tagetes oil it not only exfoliate, but the oil also nourishes your lips making sure they don't dry out. And the best part? You get to lick it off after! Yum!
I suffer a lot with dry skin and especially dry lips during the colder winter months, so this product was a welcome addition to my skin regime.
How to use:
The product is super easy to use, you simply lift the scrub with a clean finger and gently buff your lips in a gentle circling motion with the sugary scrub.
Overall:
I really love this product and treat myself to a lip scrub every couple of days. This really helps to exfoliate the skin on my lips, without being too harsh. The product is also 100% vegan. The only advice I will give is; DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IN PUBLIC! Otherwise you look a little bit crazy rubbing your lips with sugar and licking it off! I made the mistake of using it while waiting for a train and I had a few very strange looks, especially when I hadn't licked all of the sugar off! Also, make sure to have a moisturising and nourishing lip balm/butter to use after otherwise your lips may be too exposed to the harsh weather and dry out even more!

I absolutely LOVE Lush's lip scrubs, this one and Bubblegum are my favourite :) I saw on Lisa Eldridge's YT channel she recommends using a cotton bud/q-tip with a dab of Elizabeth Arden's 8hr cream and rubbing it over the lips to pick up dead skin, I tried it but with my usual moisturiser and it works really well and they feel soft afterwards :D

Oh awesome! That sounds like a great idea. I go through so many cotton buds just through general make up and skin routine - they are just so useful! I will definitely try that next time, thank you!
